With spending a bit more time than usual at home this summer, it is not surprising that many people are focusing on sprucing up there outdoor spaces. Whether you have a small balcony overlooking streets in The Gulch or expansive acreage in Williamson County, here are some pro tips to creating that perfect spot:
1. Foot Traffick – establishing where people will walk through to get from one area to the next is important. You can arrange your furniture in such a way to establish these patterns or do something formal like laying pavers.
2. Variety of Seating – you can easily cater to the needs of all types of guests by providing a variety of options from Adirondack chairs through benches through outdoor daybeds.
3. Have a Focal Point – a beautiful planter or chiminea could serve as a great focal point. It’s something every space needs to be just right!
